Novum is a java-based web application framework based on the model-view-controller architecture and J2EE. Novum builder is a Java application based on novum framework used to web enable, as well as to integrate, business applications quickly and efficiently without coding. It can also be used to build bespoke xml-based or database-based web application. Novum builder was used to develop the web front end of novum builder editor. It can web enable existing business applications through the use of various pre-built commands/connectors like; SQL, Stored Procedure, Web Services, Message Queue, VBScript and or Enterprise JavaBeans).

Novum builder is used to web enable TIA, the insurance application, and Great Plains, the finance application from Microsoft Business Solutions.

ICE provides a seamless workflow for the First Notification of Loss and supply chain management (including motor vehicle repair). Novum builder is used to provide a web-based front end to the system.

MMS is a bespoke web application that holds contact records gathered from variety of sources and used as the primary source of lead generation. The system is used by a telemarketing agency to make the initial call and follow up calls to lead generation. It is also used by the marketing team to monitor progress, produce reports and forward leads to the sales team. I developed MMS using novum builder and SQL Server.

The decision engine system consists of two parts: the web application where the user sets up business rules and live events; and the decision engine itself which receives the data stream and apply the live events if the data satisfies the rules. Also part of the system is flash emulation of the data after processing. The system was built based on novum library in java , XML, JSP, tomcat, and Oracle. The decision engine web application was then deployed for production on resin integrated with IIS and SQL Server 2000.

A CMS that has been built using Obtree C3 Content Management system and it has been designed to be compliant with W3C Web Accessibility Initiatives Guidelines (WAI). The site has been validated and approved by Bobby and AbilityNet for its accessibility.

A system that records the interests of buyers and sellers in the products and services supported by the trading exchange. Relationships between buyers and sellers may then be recognised and interactions between parties with common interests are initiated. Auctions can then be conducted online.

A system that records Estate Agents’ property details and allow them to upload pictures of the properties. The agent thereafter selects a template for the advert and selects the property and its location in that template. A PDF file will then be generated on the fly, ready to be published and printed.

The system was developed using the Delano e-BIS and SQL Server7. It enables merchants to open tenders, find new suppliers, and raise orders; where the supplier can respond to tenders/orders and raise invoices and credit notes. The system also integrates orders and invoices into the merchants/suppliers current systems.
