Born in Baghdad on Saturday 08 July 1972. Graduated as a doctor
from Baghdad University Medical School in 1996. After graduation
I moved to Amman, Jordan on 06 September 1996. After 14 months in
Amman, I Moved to London, UK to join the rest of my family on 27
November 1997.
In Summer 1998 I established the idea of changing my career to
become an IT professional. Briefly the most important reason for
the change was my passion to technology and computers. However,
I must admit that I had the idea of change even before that time,
when I realised that I do not want the life of a doctor and to become
a successful doctor you must devote your life to medicine!
I started as a web designer and developer operating as IPS
UK in 1998. Then 2 years later on July 2000 I joined Borada,
a company owned by Opus
Trust, to design and develop web solutions.
In September 2000 I started MSc course in Information Systems at
Thames Valley
University to further my knowledge in IT and to enable me to
achieve my ambitions easily and efficiently.
In March 2002 I joined the web team of Opus Systems, which is also
owned by Opus
Trust, to provide web related service to its two subsidiaries
TIA Systems
and Tate
Bramald. My work is mainly to web enable TIA,
the insurance application, and Great
Plains, the finance system from Microsoft
Business Solutions.
